April 2022: Works on Paper an Annual Exhibit of Paintings and Drawings

If you’re in or around Portland, ME during the month of April stop in Richard Boyd Art Gallery to see a great annual exhibition of original paintings, drawings, and collages created on a time honored raw product – paper.  An unforgiving surface around for centuries, paper reveals the artist’s proficiency in creating visual art.

This year’s exhibit is comprised of a selection of works on paper in a range of mediums and styles by a group of established and national renowned artists’ Deena S. Ball – watercolor and mixed media; Linda Caron – watercolor; Patricia Chandler – charcoal and mixed media; Carrin Culotta – gouache; Randy Eckard – watercolor; Laura Freeman – graphite; Kristin Horton – mixed media collage; Karen Chutsky Naud – chalk pastel;  Jen Pagnini – watercolor and mixed media; Wilson Stewart – mixed media; and HM Saffer II – sumi-e, and Chinese and Japanese ground mineral pigments with gouache on Japanese washi paper.

Works on Paper is on view free of charge between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from April 1st through April 29, 2022.  Additional times scheduled by appointment.
