August 2023: Jane Herbert A Solo Exhibition Of Paintings
Richard Boyd Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a solo exhibition of paintings by noted Maine artist Jane Herbert on August 1st at 10:00 a.m. Jane’s exquisitely detailed traditional style paintings are a visual expression of life along the coast and reveal observations of the picturesque landscape and seaside charm of Maine’s coastal communities. “Through the years, I’ve been inspired by the beauty I find in nature. Recently I have taken a wider view of the landscape and the strong and reassuring sense of unity I feel in it. I want to draw people into that kind of healing space.” This is Jane’s eighth solo exhibition of paintings at the gallery. If you love paintings depicting the beauty of Maine’s landscape and coastal communities don’t miss this exhibit. You won’t be disappointed! Jane’s beautifully rendered landscape paintings are widely collected and held in private and public collections. The exhibit is on view free of charge from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily through August 30th, 2023.
