December 2013 through January 2014 ‘Holiday Offerings’
 “December Twilight” by Jane Herbert (Portland, ME) Richard Boyd Art Gallery announces the opening of ‘Holiday Offerings’ on December 6th at 10:00 am. The annual exhibit features a selection of fine arts in a variety of media and range of styles from traditional landscapes to contemporary digital works by artists represented by the gallery. On exhibit are paintings in acrylic on canvas depicting landscapes and coastal scenes by Jane Herbert, mixed media sculpture by Jean Noon, modern digital collage paintings in ink on canvas by Petrea Noyes, paintings in oil depicting woodland scenes by Gordon Carlisle, paintings in acrylic on canvas depicting harbor scenes by Gwen Sylvester, paintings in oil on canvas by William Steele depicting seascapes and island views, pottery and ceramic art by Rick Boyd, and sculptures in clay by Brandon Lutterman, and works in glass by Keith Weiskamp. The exhibition is open free of charge to the public through January 31, 2014. During the month of January, the gallery is open on the first Friday of the month from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and by appointment. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is located on Peaks Island, at the corner of Island Avenue and Epps Street, in the first building on the right, on the first floor.
