February 2015 – ‘Group Exhibit of Paintings and Sculpture’

(Portland, ME) Richard Boyd Art Gallery located on Peaks Island in Portland, Maine opens the month of February with a group exhibit of paintings and sculpture by artists represented by the gallery. The exhibit features a selection of works in a broad range of styles from contemporary to traditional realism, covering an array of subjects, in a variety of mediums.

On exhibit are works by gallery artists Jeffrey Ackerman– a painting in oil and a bronze sculpture; Rob Anderson– paintings in oil; Amy Bickford– paintings in gouache; Pam Cabañas– paintings in monochromatic ink wash; Katharine Cartwright, NWS– mixed media, oil and watercolor paintings; Charles Ellithorpe, DVM– bronze sculptures; Jane Herbert– paintings in acrylic; Bob Santandrea– works in pastel; Felicity Sidwell– paintings in oil; Sarah Wilde– paintings in acrylic; and Kathy Weinberg– paintings in acrylic and a bronze sculpture.

The gallery is operating under its Fall/Winter schedule and is open to the public free of charge from 10:00am to 3:00pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through February 28, 2015. Additional days and times by appointment. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is located on Peaks Island at the corner of Island Avenue and Epps Street, in the first building on the right, on the first floor.
