February 2023: A Group Exhibition Of Paintings by Women Artists

If you’re in or around Portland, Maine this February stop in Richard Boyd Art Gallery to see a great annual exhibition of paintings by women artists with different perspectives and interests joined by their love of creating art.

The exhibition showcases paintings created by women using innovative and traditional techniques and included works by artists’ Deena S. Ball – watercolor, Linda Caron – watercolor, Patricia Chandler – oil and cold wax medium, Carrin Culotta – oil, Jane Herbert – acrylic, Kristin Horton – oil, and Jen Pagnini – mixed media.

Visual arts created by women artists are underrepresented in many museums and galleries around the globe. So, let’s change this. Help celebrate women and the contributions they make to the arts and our society daily.

The exhibit is open free of charge every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM through February 26th, 2023.  Additional days and times by chance or appointment.
