November 2012- “Serenity 2012: Paintings and Drawings”
(Peaks Island, ME), “Serenity 2012: Paintings and Drawings” a new offering at Richard Boyd Art Gallery opens November 2nd at 10:00 am. The exhibition features a selection of oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel paintings by artists Bob Santandrea and Wyn Foland and drawings by guest artist Elisabeth Heller. Works by artists Jeanne O’Toole Hayman, Pam Cabanas, and Jay LaBrie are also on display. The exhibit is on view Friday Through Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and by appointment through November 30, 2012. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is located on Peaks Island, ME at the corner of Island Avenue and Epps Street, first building on the right. The gallery offers original 20th and 21st century works of art by established and emerging artists with connections to the State of Maine, working primarily in the media of painting, sculpture, pottery and glass. An art studio producing hand made original works of art with a focus on ceramic art and pottery is located on the second floor. The gallery is open April through October from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. In November and December the gallery is open Friday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and by appointment. The gallery is open by appointment and chance January through March.
