April 2021: Works on Paper an Annual Exhibit of Paintings and Drawings
If you’re in or around Portland, ME during the month of April stop in the gallery to see a great annual exhibition of original paintings and drawings created on a time honored raw product – paper. An unforgiving surface around for centuries, paper reveals the artist’s proficiency in creating visual art. This year’s exhibit is comprised of a selection of works on paper in a range of mediums and styles by artists’ Amy Bickford – watercolor and gouache; Linda Caron – watercolor; Patricia Chandler – charcoal and mixed media; Carrin Culotta – watercolor; Randy Eckard – watercolor; Karen Chutsky Naud – chalk pastel; Roy Perkinson – pastel; HM Saffer – sumi-e, and Chinese and Japanese ground mineral pigments with gouache on Japanese washi paper; Bob Santandrea – pastel; and Susan Tan – watercolor. Works on Paper is on view free of charge between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from April 1st through April 29, 2021.
